Join us at the Campus Life Center for a night of worship on Wednesday, July 29th at 6:30. As God continues to move in and grow our church, we want to lean into what He's doing by having consistent times of worship and prayer beyond Sunday morning, and we'd love for you to join us!
BAPTISMS
Baptism is the outward declaration of the inward reality of choosing to follow Jesus. It is a step that takes our Faith public and allows us to celebrate as one family. More than just a ritual or technicality of our faith, Baptism is something that Jesus both participated in and commanded those who choose to follow Him to take part in. Baptism allows us to experience the profound joy that salvation brings and catch a glimpse of the celebration that Heaven is throwing. If you’ve put your faith in Jesus but haven’t been baptized, you can go here to learn more and register!
PICKLEBALL AND PIZZA
Whether you're an experienced pickleball player or you've never picked up a paddle, we'd love to have you join us for a fun evening of pickleball, pizza, and community! Come enjoy friendly competition, meet new people, and invite your friends and neighbors for a relaxed summer evening together. We'll have courts for a variety of skill levels, as well as instruction available for those who are brand new to the game. Pizza and refreshments will be provided.

Sermon Notes
18 “If the world hates you, know that it has hated me before it hated you.19 If you were of the world, the world would love you as its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you. 20 Remember the word that I said to you: ‘A servant is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted me, they will also persecute you. If they kept my word, they will also keep yours.
John 15:18-20
Becoming more like Jesus means expecting resistance—not because we're difficult, but because Jesus is different
The world doesn't mind a helpful Jesus. It resists a ruling Jesus.
6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
John 14:6
The world has never had a problem with a helpful Jesus.
The world resists a ruling Jesus because if Jesus is LORD, then I’m NOT.
Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.
Romans 12:2
The goal isn't to be accepted by culture. The goal is to be approved by Christ.
But the word that is written in their Law must be fulfilled: ‘They hated me without a cause.’
John 15:25
If no one can tell you're different, you may be too connected to the world & not connected enough to the Vine.
The evidence that you're abiding isn't that everyone applauds your life. The evidence is that you keep looking more like Jesus—even when it costs you.
