Heritage Youth is all about creating a place where young people can find and follow Jesus. We have weekly services, youth events, camps & retreats to help students grow in their faith and build new friendships!

YOUTH NIGHTS are weekly gatherings of 6th–12th grade students! Students come together to have fun, hang out with friends, and learn about God in ways that make sense to them. You don’t want to miss it!

Lake Zurich & Barrington Campus: Wednesdays at 7pm-8:30pm. Stay connected with updates & announcements by texting the word “Youth” to 847-999-7195. If you have any questions, we’d love to connect with you! CONTACT US HERE.

Round Lake Beach Campus: Tuesdays at 6:00-8:00pm. If you have any questions, we’d love to connect with you! CONTACT US HERE.

HIGH SCHOOL NIGHTS

High School Nights are on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of each month from 6:30p to 8:00p in the Lake Zurich/Barrington area! Students come together to grow in their faith, connect with other students and leaders to talk about God and life in a relevant and engaging way.

This group is lead by Heritage Youth's very own leaders who know High School can be tough. Through discussion and studies we will learn to apply the Bible's teachings and build connection and friendship together.

Do you or do you know a high school student that would want to be a part of this small group? If so, click the Sign Up button below to register. All the times and location information will be provided once you sign up.

 Resources

A student’s soul is like a sponge; they’re constantly absorbing the thoughts, opinions, and beliefs of those around them. These things combine together to create a lens through which a student views the world around them.
This lense is a positive thing when it influences the students towards Christ, but i can be negative when it lead them away from Christ. For those with teenagers in their house, these non-Christ centered worldviews can be particularly sticky and tricky to navigate in conversation.

We want to resource parents to have those conversations well.

Below, you’ll find a variety of books and documentaries that we recommend for you and your student to engage with. While not all are explicitly Christian or represent full Christian values, most are. The ones that are not explicitly Christian are on this list because they offer a ‘bird’s eye view’ on current worldviews. We encourage you to check through the different topics to see which ones might apply to you and your student.
