Job Title: Worship Director, Round Lake Beach campus

Status: 40 hours (on-site/in-person)

Direct Report: Round Lake Beach Campus Pastor 

GENERAL DESCRIPTION 

Heritage Church is a multi-site, multi-generational church in the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago.  We are passionate about helping people find and follow God in a way that is authentic and relevant to today’s culture.  We create environments, ministries, and programming to strengthen believers with un-churched people in mind.  We manage the tension of helping spiritual searchers feel at home while being a place where believers are thriving in their faith in Christ.  To do this, we are intentional about creating engaging environments for authentic biblical community that mobilize people to live on mission. 

The Round Lake Beach Worship Director will play a vital role in helping us accomplish our mission.  Alongside our Campus Pastor and Central Programming Team, the Worship Director will give leadership to our weekend services, emphasizing production, music and programming in the diverse locale of the greater Round Lake Beach area. The Worship Director, supported by the Heritage Church staff, will drive worship experiences that strengthen the faith and relationships of growing believers while continually evaluating our services through the eyes of someone who may not yet know Jesus.

The role requires a high level of experience and broad knowledge of worship, music, as well as audio, lighting and staging, and a proven track record of leading worship, working with musicians, and leading and developing volunteers. Also, this top-level role is highly influential across the campus, and it includes pastoral, executive and creative influence that causes the entire campus to flourish in impact.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Emulate, communicate, and protect the vision for worship, design, and production of Heritage Church, acting as a liaison between Heritage Central and the Round Lake Beach campus.

- Work with staff and volunteers to produce and support all services, programs, and events for Round Lake Beach campus. 

- Be the point of contact for all worship, design, and production needs for the Round Lake Beach campus. 

- Oversee weekend services setup (audio/stage/lighting/streaming) for the Round Lake Beach campus (a mobile campus). 

- Provide leadership, care, and discipleship for the campus Worship and Production Teams 

- Work with the Round Lake Beach Campus Team to strategize, plan, and execute events, activities and ministry needs for the Round Lake Beach Campus. 

- Assist Round Lake Beach Campus Pastor by leading Groups Administration, along with pastoral care, outreach, and ministry responsibilities for the Round Lake Beach campus.
