YOU WERE NEVER MEANT TO DO LIFE ALONE

At Heritage, we are passionate about helping people find authentic biblical community. One of the ways we do this is through Heritage Groups. We have groups for people in all stages and seasons of life where you can connect with God and others, grow in your faith, and take the next steps of your spiritual journey.

Heritage Groups run in two main seasons. Our Fall season runs from September through December and our Spring season runs from January through April. We invite you to take your next step today and be a part of a group where people just like you experience real life-change through authentic community.

THURSDAYS | begins September 21 | 7-8:30PM | Heritage LZ Campus - Training Room

Our group is on a mission to help us all more confidently respond to questions about the faith. The goal is not to win arguments. Rather, our goal is to help you respond with one intention in mind: to introduce people to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The content for our study is the Foundations of Apologetics curriculum from Ravi Zacharias. There are video presentations from Ravi and others on his team that will help us become more adept at recognizing the many world views influencing our culture. Through our study, you'll be more equipped to challenge the assumptions of those world views. "Doing life together" is a core value of our group. We reinforce this by alternating between study weeks and fellowship weeks. On study weeks, we will discuss the lesson that you will have watched ahead of time. On fellowship nights, we gather together to share a meal and fellowship together.

RESPECTABLE SINS: CONFRONTING THE SINS WE TOLERATE | DENNIS LA BISSONIERE

WEDNESDAYS | BEGINS SEPTEMBER 20
6:30–8:30 PM | HERITAGE Lake Zurich CAMPUS

As Christians, we believe that all sins are considered equal in God's eyes. Yet while evangelicals continue to decry the Big Ones---such as abortion, adultery, and violence---we often overlook more deceptive sins. It seems we've created a sliding scale where gossip, jealousy, and selfishness comfortably exist within the church. In short, some sins have
simply become acceptable

MEN’S GROUP | JEFF LESLIE

HERITAGE Lake Zurich CAMPUS

Get up early and join other men to invest in each others lives before work starts. We will pray, encourage and challenge each other to be the men God has called us to be.

LORD, CHANGE MY ATTITUDE | RYAN BRENNAN

LAUNCH POINT GROUP: START WITH THE FIRST 6 WEEKS BEFORE COMMITTING TO THE REST OF THE SEMESTER. SATURDAYS | BEGINS SEPTEMBER 23 | 7–9AM | HERITAGE Lake Zurich CAMPUS

Men, join us as we look at how to grow to become the men God is calling us to be. God cares deeply about your attitude, and chances are your attitude could use some adjustment! Even in the best of circumstances, a good attitude does not come naturally. But you can replace complaining with thanksgiving, covetousness with contentment, criticism with love, and adjust your attitude to one that honors Him. This study, based on the Israelites' journey out of Egypt, shows how your attitude can keep you in the wilderness or allows you to enjoy the blessings of your promised land.

Take a closer look at the God who is infinitely knowable, creative, able to provide, timeless, unchanging, powerful, wonderful, and more. This exploration of ten ways God is different from us aims to remind us of why our limits are a good thing in light of God’s limitlessness—helping us experience the freedom that comes from letting God be God.

What comes to mind when you think of heaven? Clouds? Harps? Angels? Singing? Now, honestly, does that really sound like a great way to spend eternity? The good news is, that is NOT what heaven is like. And when you discover what really awaits you there, it will radically change your view of your future and of heaven.

BREATHE | LED BY JILL ECKLAND AND
JUDY WILSON (More than Moms ministry)

1ST & 3RD WEDNESDAYS | BEGINS OCTOBER 4 | 9:15-11:15 AM | heritage Lake Zurich CAMPUS

One of the greatest challenges amoung women in our culture is taking time to cease from all the activities and just breathe. We are in bondage to busyness. We constantly strive to complete the limitless to-do lists that hinder us from experiencing all that God has for us. By neglecting time for tranquility, serenity, and repose, we limit our Christlikeness and miss out on some of God's greatest gifts. In the Old Testament, Sabbath was given to the Israelites as a gift, and it is still a gift to us today. If you are weary, worn out, and exhausted, then the concept of Sabbath will change your life.
