The global refugee crisis is the worst humanitarian disaster in the world today. Over 65 million people are displaced from their homes—the most in recorded history. One of every 113 people in the world is now a refugee. Roughly 12 million Syrians have been forced from their homes by a brutal civil war. Nearly 6 million have fled to nearby countries or Europe and over 6 million are still surviving within Syria. Twelve million people; that’s equivalent to every person in New York City and Los Angeles becoming homeless.
On Sunday, October 29 we are going to focus on the plight of people who God has specifically called His people to love. Join us Heritage Church and thousands of others in praying, giving, and caring for the cause of people displaced. We are partnering with World Vision to help make a difference in this great global crisis.
